Head Coach
As someone fortunate enough to have had a long and successful lacrosse career that has taken me across the globe, I can truly say that the sport has shaped my life in incredible ways. From playing for nearly 10 different teams in various leagues, from minor to professional, I’ve experienced the highs and lows that come with the game. Throughout this journey, I’ve met some amazing people and forged lifelong friendships, playing alongside some of the best in the world like Dan Dawson, John Tavares, John Grant Jr., and Gavin Prout. Now, as a coach for the Sarnia Pacers, I feel a deep sense of responsibility to give back to the community that has given me so much. Coaching isn’t just about teaching the skills of the game; it’s about instilling the importance of friendship, building a family, and fostering a love for the sport. Without fun and enjoyment, what’s the point? It’s the heart of youth sports. Winning follows naturally when chemistry and camaraderie are prioritized.Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of coaching alongside some of the brightest lacrosse minds, and it’s been incredibly rewarding to help kids step out of their shells and discover themselves both on and off the floor. The Pacers have seen great success in the last decade, and I’ve been fortunate to have such talented coaches by my side.Sarnia Pacers is where it all began for me, and it’s where I’ll continue to be for years to come, even after my son has moved on from the organization. It’s my home, and I’m proud to help foster the next generation of players and leaders in our community.
