The Sarnia Peewee 1 Pacers entered a very busy and exciting week of lacrosse.

They started by playing London Blue Devils 2 team on Tuesday night in Lambeth.  After a slow start the Pacers finished strong winning the game 6 - 3.  Ethan Fines led the way offensively with 3 goals and 1 assist.  Parker Currie, Jack Baerg and Josh Manning also scored in the victory.

The Peewee 1 were again in action on Thursday night against a strong London Blue Devils 1 team at Clearwater Arena.  A good sized crowd was treated to a tightly contested affair, with the Pacers ending up dropping the game by a 8-5 score.  Ryder Haynes 2, Josh Manning, Cooper Crowe, and Kaia Pierce scored for the Pacers.

Next up the Sarnia Peewee 1 Pacers participated in the Boyd Balkwell Tournament in Orillia.

Their first game was against the host Orillia team.  In an entertaining first two periods, the game was tied after at a score of 4 - 4.  However that was as close as the Pacers would get as Orillia pulled away to a 10 - 4 victory.  Ethan Fines 2, Josh Manning and Jack Baerg scored for the Pacers.

In a must win game, the Peewee Pacers played a team from Baltimore.  The Pacers had a balanced attack in a commanding 12 - 1 victory.  Chris Buono 3, Ethan Fines 2, Jack Baerg 2, Josh Manning 2, Cooper Crowe, Ryder Haynes and Kaia Pierce scored for the Pacers.  Due to the win against Baltimore, the Pacers played Barrie 1 in the semi finals Saturday night.

In a very physical and tight checking game the Peewee Pacers had one of their best outings of the season winning 7 - 4..  Josh Manning (3g, 2a) and Ryder Haynes (1g, 3a) led the way offensively.  Ethan Fines, Kaia Pierce and Jack Rombouts completed the scoring for the Pacers.  Austin Delgety had a great outing in goal coming up with some huge saves during critical moments of the game.

In the finals on Sunday, the Peewee 1 Pacers squared off against a strong Orillia team.  In a fantastic Championship game Orillia came out on top 11 - 9.  The Pacers were winning 6 - 3 at one point in the second period, but Orillia capitalized with a strong power play and held off a Pacers late surge.  Josh Manning led the way offensively with 3 goals and 2 assist.  Chris Buono 2, Nolan Bourdage 2 and Kaia Pierce scored for the Pacers.
