Tyke 2 Pacers Compete Hard at Confederacy Challenge
In an action-packed, 4 games weekend, the Sarnia Tyke 2 Pacers came home with an outstanding 2-1-1 record at the Six Nations Confederacy Challenge.

The Pacers opened the tournament Saturday morning with a 19-2 loss to the Kahnawake Mohawks in a game that was full of big hits. Opening with a loss pushed the boys to come out hungry in game 2.

Our tyke 2's took an early lead against Orangeville with 2 big goals by Ian Headrick but the Northmen weren't backing down and responded with a few goals late in the 3rd to end the game in a tie.

Saturday evening saw the Pacers looking for their first win of the tournament against the host team, Six Nations. Our boys played well together as a team resulting in a 2 goal game for Bryson Forbes and Tenny Marut. This game was full of strong passing as Andrew Watson and Cole Dunlop each walked away with a goal and 2 assists. Carson Jolicoeur was outstanding between the pipes.

Sunday morning, in a crossover game between Pool A & B, our Sarnia Tyke 2 Pacers took on their Zone 7 rivals, the London Blue Devils. After a tie and a loss to London, the Pacers were out for a win and what a big win it was with a 6-2 final score! Leading the way was Andrew Watson with a hat trick.

All in all, it was a great weekend of team bonding and good ol fashioned LAX. Our Tyke 2 Pacers are back in action next Tuesday at home vs London in what is sure to be an exciting match up!
