Submitted By Andy Cadieux on Mon 06 04, 18
The Sarnia Pacers Paperweights, Tyke 2, Novice 2 and Peewee 2 traveled to London this past week to take on the London Blue Devils while the Bantams were on the road in Windsor against the Warlocks to play a double header Sunday.

The Tyke 2 team opened the weeks games against London with a tough loss against the Blue Devils 8-5. Both teams battled hard for loose balls and in the end some timely scoring for the team from London was the difference.

Next up the Novice 2 team dropped a defensive battle against the Blue Devils with team unable to score the game would end 5-0 for London.

Closing out the night the Sarnia Pacers Peewee 2 team lost to the Blue Devils 9-2. Both Pacers goals were scored in the 3rd period proving there is no quit in this Pacers team. Goals would go to Blake Robinson and Nate Henderson

The Paperweight Pacers traveled to London on Wednesday May 30
th and dropped a hard fought battle 9-8.  Leading the way for the Pacers was Brayer Vanderburgt and Dane Mainland with 3 goals each, Alton Tedball and Brock Simon rounded out the scoring with one apiece.   Abigail Williamson was brilliant in the net and kept the Pacers in it!

Rounding out the week the Sarnia Pacers Bantam team was on the road for a double header Sunday June 2nd winning the first game 8-3 and and getting a 6-6 tie in the second.

The shorthanded Pacers players showed no quit and if you couldn't see the bench you would have thought the Pacers dressed 30 runners as both games saw the Pacers dominate loose balls and time of possession. Victor Tang and Graham Armstrong led the loose ball assault and 10 of 13 runners found their name in the points column. Leading all scorers on both sides of the ball Nolan Cadieux had 5 goals and 3 assists.
