Sarnia Peewee 1 Grab 5th Place in Conrad Rollings

The Peewee 1 Pacers went to their first tournament of the year on the weekend in Newmarket, ON.  The Pacers went 2 and 2 on the weekend and finished in fifth place.

The Pacers narrowly missed the semi finals by a tie break conversion. 

They were first in action 
on Friday night with a tough 9-5 loss at the hands of Centre Wellington. Josh Manning had 2 goals with singles going to Ethan Fines, Parker Currie and Nolan Bourdage.  

Saturday morning the Pacers faced off against the Newmarket Redbirds coming out with a tight 4-3 victory.  Austin Dalgety had a great game in net. Scoring came from Dylan Sutherland, Ethan Fines, Kaia Pierce and Josh Manning. 

In a must win game to enter the semis the Pacers lost a close checking game to Kawartha Lakes 6-5.  Parker Currie and Kaia Pierce led the way with 2 goals each with Josh Manning adding a single.  

Sunday morning the Pacers faced off against Owen Sound playing a complete game and winning 9-3.  Jack Baerg, Ethan Fines and Ryder Haynes each had 2 goals and 1 assist.  Singles went to Dylan Sutherland, Josh Manning and Kaia Pierce.  Austin Dalgety had another terrific game in net, chipping in offensively with 2 assists.
