Message Regarding the Upcoming 2017 Season
Submitted By lguthrie on Wed 12 21, 16
Hello Pacer Lacrosse Families,

I just wanted to take a moment to introduce myself and to give you a few updates regarding the upcoming 2017 Season.

For the 2017 Spring/Summer season, the Executive is very excited and has been working hard since September too help make it a success on and off the floor. With that being said, we are facing a number of unforeseen challenges. To deal with these issues there have been many changes with the program, some exciting and some that are out of the Executives control.

The first update is that the OLA has put all registrations online for your convenience.   I ask that everyone be patient with this as it is a new program and I’m sure there will be a few hiccups but our Registrar and Web Director are doing a fantastic job working them out.  Registration opens January1st so keep an eye out for details on Pacers Website and Facebook page.

We have filled all of our coaches for the boy’s teams and are still accepting coaches for the girl’s teams. The Executive is excited too welcome the new Midget Coach-Mike Parkhouse -who is coming from Calgary Minor Lacrosse and is very excited too meet the boys and get things going.

Also, our Lax Mom’s group is hard at work planning events to help raise money too help lower the ever-rising costs. The new group of mom’s will continue too to do a great job just as the past groups have.  If anyone is interested in helping out, please feel free to contact anyone from the committee.

I hope this letter helps out with any questions anyone has and remember we are always looking for volunteers to help with all the work that needs to be done. Or, to have your voice heard, check our website for the next monthly executive meeting. New faces are always welcome!!!!

I hope you all have a wonderful Holiday Season. If there is any questions or concerns don’t hesitate too  contact me at [email protected] .

Thanks
Tom Quinn
VP Sarnia Minor Lacrosse
